ChainCatcher 消息，据 Cointelegraph 报道，美国共和党议员呼吁在即将于众议院投票的《21 世纪住房法案》中永久禁止美国央行数字货币。众议员 Mike Flood 表示，众议院修订版法案旨在推翻对 CBDC 的“隐性绿灯”，使禁令永久化。若法案通过众议院后将返回参议院，可能进一步修订。众议员 Warren Davidson 支持永久禁令，并认为 2030 年到期日相当于给了 CBDC 一个预启动开发期。众议院多数党党鞭 Tom Emmer 也在推动其《反 CBDC 监控国家法案》，该法案已于去年 7 月通过众议院但尚未获参议院批准。Emmer 警告，若美国采用 CBDC，隐私和经济自由将不复存在。
