Tether 支持的 Adecoagro 将在巴西推出甘蔗渣供电的比特币挖矿业务
ChainCatcher 消息，据 FinanceFeeds 报道，Tether 支持的南美大型农业公司 Adecoagro 计划在巴西推出由甘蔗加工电力驱动的比特币挖矿业务，初始容量为 10 兆瓦，约 1,280 台矿机，预计于 2026 年 7 月 1 日左右启动。Adecoagro 业务涵盖糖、乙醇、大米、乳制品和可再生能源，Tether 此前收购了该公司多数股权。
挖矿项目将使用甘蔗残渣（甘蔗渣）产生的电力，该公司在南美拥有超过 230 兆瓦的可再生能源发电能力。巴西是全球最大甘蔗生产国之一，拥有成熟的乙醇和生物能源产业。如果试点成功，其他农业和可再生能源生产商可能将挖矿视为剩余电力的灵活需求来源。
